Flontiere is brought to you by contemporary artist, Rosa Brown, who says: "Since studying Visual Communication in the UK, I have learned experiment and to work combining digital and traditional art processes. I am inspired by my Mexican culture which is full of bold colours and beautiful imagery found in ancient monuments, nature, regional costumes and food. Now that I am living in the UK, I am also inspired to create art which not only draws upon my origins, but also the beauty and history of the UK. My recent work is now a project called Gothic. I am now working with wooden dolls telling the story of each character which will be exhibited end of October. Living in what used to be the ancient kingdom of Mercia, some work reflects the regional history of the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings in contemporary and colourful style".
