We are Quirky Metals, Jim and Laura Stringer, husband and wife team, making giftware and jewellery for galleries and art markets. We are metalworkers working from our tiny workshop in Sheffield, England. We work mostly in pewter and produce designs which are inspired by the Natural world with a quirky nature to them. Our work has been called Modern Day Collectibles and many designs are award winning having received awards from the Worshipful Company of Pewterers , London. Work is all handcrafted using traditional silversmithing and pewtersmithing techniques. We have been working for ourselves since 2014 and have been developing designs since then. We sell directly to the trade market and to customers through online shops. We can also make bespoke commission pieces and personalised items. As seen on the British Craft Directory, a retail-trade sourcing site for locally made art, crafts, jewellery, gifts, cards, homeware and more.
